BUILDING STRONG FOUNDATIONS FOR BABIES

APRIL 4, 2018

McKimmon Center, Raleigh, NC

The science is clear that our brains grow faster between the ages of 0 and 3 than at any later point in our lives, forming more than one million new neural connections every second. These early connections have a lifelong impact on how babies learn and grow and lay a strong foundation for the rest of their lives.

Babies need healthy beginnings, supported families, and quality early care and learning experiences with parents, caregivers, and teachers who can support their development and learning. It’s time to invest in the future by investing in babies and their families!

Attend this forum to learn from national, state and local leaders about effective policies and programs that support families and help babies thrive. Learn how to become an effective advocate for infants, toddlers and their families. Be part of a new initiative in North Carolina focused on building strong foundations for babies!
