Early Education Telephone Town Hall

Tuesday, June 9th at 6:30pm

Join early education advocates, parents, child care providers and educators across the state for a Telephone Town Hall to talk about the issues facing our state’s child care system and the need for a public commitment to supporting early education in light of COVID-19.

The deadline to RSVP for this event has passed but you can still participate! Please dial (855) 756-7520 Ext. 61623# at 6:30pm to join the Telephone Town Hall tonight!

Families rely on our early education system in order to keep working, and our state’s economy does, too. We know that a strong and inclusive economic recovery won’t be possible without a child care system that supports the educators who care for and educate our state’s youngest children as well as parents who need access to affordable child care in order to go back to work. Without public investments and policies that support the child care system now, North Carolina risks losing ground on access to critical child care and early education in communities across the state.

This Telephone Town Hall is being hosted by the NC Justice Center and is co-sponsored by the Coalition and many of our early childhood partners across the state.

We hope you’ll be able to join us! Please dial (855) 756-7520 Ext. 61623# at 6:30pm to participate in the Telephone Town Hall tonight!
