The 2019 NC Legislative Session began on January 30th, with a lot of new faces in the NC General Assembly. There are 40 freshmen legislators who are beginning their work on behalf of their constituents. If you live in their districts, now is a perfect time to build a relationship and let them know why you think they should become a champion for our youngest children, their families, and their early educators. Use the button below to look up who represents you.
You can also find your legislators by looking on the NC General Assembly's website. This is a good resource to find what Committee they sit on and what bills they are working on during this session.
Stay tuned to this website and look for our action alerts so that you can contact legislators when it matters the most. We also encourage you to continue to build relationships with your legislators and educate them on the early childhood issues that are impacting children and families in our state. Thank you for being a strong advocate for early education and children and families!
