Membership Benefits
Our members are a diverse group of statewide organizations, regional and local child care agencies, child care providers, and individuals. They are the heart and soul of our work and the best advocates we know!
By becoming a member, you join thousands of early childhood advocates and professionals across North Carolina who share your passion for early education. Your membership supports a full-time lobbyist working to advance high-quality early care and education, and gives you the opportunity to engage in advocacy conversations that matter to you and make a big difference for young children and families. Membership dues begin at $30 for individuals and child care programs and $150 for organizations. Membership benefits include:
Early Education Lobbyists: Your membership supports a full-time lobbying team working on your behalf to increase funding and advance high- quality early education.
Early Education Advocacy Center:Coalition members have a voice in public policy. You’ll receive the latest updates on federal and state legislation and be able to use our Advocacy Action Center to easily share your ideas and opinions with policymakers.
Advocacy Training: Get tips and tools on how to make your voice heard and be an effective advocate for early education. Join passionate advocates at an annual Advocacy Day at the NC General Assembly and other events across the state to lift your voice for young children and families.
Professional Development: Get discounts or free admission to training forums, seminars, and more. We’ll share the latest early childhood reports from leading early childhood organizations to keep you informed about key issues in the early childhood field.
Special Campaigns: Be involved in special statewide advocacy campaigns, including the Think Babies™ NC initiative and Worthy Wages NC.
Members Only Forums: Join your colleagues in special forums and conversations for members to exchange ideas and work together to make a big difference for early education.
Networking: Be part of a statewide network of early childhood advocates and demonstrate your commitment to ensuring a high-quality early childhood education system in North Carolina. You’ll receive the Coalition Members Directory connecting you to fellow advocates across the state.
Membership Bundles (organizational members only): Organizational members can select colleagues within their organization to be part of their “bundle” and receive all of the benefits of membership. The number of members allowed in your bundle depends on your membership level (see application form for more details).
